Cascade Comets is offering beginning and intermediate Flyball classes on an ongoing basis at Paws-Abilities in Tukwila, Washington.  The money raised from  classes goes towards hosting tournaments, Flyball equipment and charitable causes.

Just about any dog can learn to play Flyball.  We have found that the ability to play Flyball is not dependent on breed, size, age, etc., however, to ensure the safety of the dogs, they must be over ten months old to attend class. 

The beginning classes are held once a week, run for six weeks, and are designed to introduce the basics of Flyball to both the dog and the handler.  No previous experience is required but an interest in tennis balls is very helpful.

The intermediate classes pick up where the beginning classes leave off.  They are designed to start preparing a dog for involvement in demos and competition.  We will work on solving any unresolved issues that the dog may have carried over from the beginning class and also introduce such concepts as passing and distractions.  The class will be held once a week and will run for six weeks.
