Costume Contest

We are pleased to continue the ghoulish tradition of having a Halloween costume contest on Saturday.  The lunch break which will conclude with the parading and judging of the costumes.  All dogs are invited to participate.  Humans can dress-up too, but they must complement their dog's costume and will not be judged individually.  Prizes will be given for the following categories:

  • Best All Around Canine Costume
  • Best Team Canine Costumes
  • Most Creative Canine Costume
  • Most Humorous Canine Costume

Memory Wall

Since this is our region's first tournament of a new racing year, we would like to look back at the past year and remember those friends we have lost by having a memory wall at our tournament.  If there is someone (human or animal) you would like to pay tribute to, either send a photo to Walt & Gretchen or bring a photo with you to the tournament.

Other Information

  • RV reservations and payment should be handled directly with Argus.
  • We will have green dog racing Saturday night after awards.  There will be a place to sign up and each club will get a ring for a designated (TBD) amount of time.
  • Barb Krause will be on site again this year to sell handcrafted dog toys and treats and tied dyed shirts. Due to the poor cell reception at Argus, they may not be able to accept credit cards, so be sure to hit the ATM on the way out.
  • Once again we’ll have great food and lattes available on site by Giddy Up Express.
  • Our raffle will be benefiting both Old Dog Haven and Pawz 4 A Cause.

Just a reminder that all tournament fees, lodging payments, and food purchases must be in US Dollars.  Thanks!

See you all soon!
